The Human Wrecking Ball!

Its demolition day at last. First step as always is turn off the water and power. After removing the tub hardware its time to see what a little aim and a hammer can do.

As with most single piece shower and tub units it secures to the walls under the drywall. And yes in this case I mean drywall. The builder used a little green board and a ton of drywall.

Seeing as there isn't any easy way to move this hunk-o-fiberglass and it reduces to a breathable dust with an attempt to saw it up i'm reduced to brute strength cracking.

Two demo sessions later i'm a little closer to clean with most of the wall removal done and the backer board off the floor.
